If Pierce Brosnan was let out from his Remington Steele contract, he would have had a relationship with Cubby, the series would have been vastly different, and he would be filming his 7th or 8th (!) Bond film now.

Daniel Craig this week cut a fingertip during an exciting action scene for the upcoming Quantum of Solace. Without any spoilers, let’s just say Craig and Co. were hanging around during this scene.

Fleming’s villains and allies were father figures; Marc-Ange Draco, M, Blofeld, Goldfinger; all about 20 years older than Bond and imposing. Perhaps because Roger Moore grew so much older in the role, that tradition fell away; it was not a part of Dalton’s films, nor of Brosnan’s.
