Did you catch the premiere of My Own Worst Enemy last night? Very 007.
All the elements were nearly in place, down to Paris locations, the shot of a drowning Henry as in the opening Die Another Day credits, the baddie with the mutilated face, and more.
They threw a big budget and lots of twists into the hour long premiere. I was impressed.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI caught the show and liked it despite all of the incredibly large logic holes. Both my wife and a friend — who are not versed in spy films — thought the whole thing was a confusing mess, so I’m not sure how the show is going to play to a large audience.
I’m willing to give the quirky premise a while to find its feet, so I’ll be back watching for at least a couple of weeks.
IMHO — as far as this season’s new shows go — it’s not as good as Life On Mars, but better than The Mentalist and The Eleventh Hour.
