I’m a big fan of So You Think You Can Dance. (Okay, there’s been a lot about this season that I haven’t loved, and that has pissed me off, but in general, I’m a fan.)

Last night was part one of the season finale, in which the “Final Four” each dance with each of the other three dancers. One dance was an elegant foxtrot featuring Twitch and Katee. Twitch was in a tux, and Katee in a lovely gown.

Afterwards, the judges praised Twitch’s elegance and style (they overstated their case, in my opinion; foxtrot is not Twitch’s forte). Mary Murphy compared him to James Bond, and he struck the classic “I’m holding my gun” pose. Then Nigel Lythgoe wanted him to say “Bond, James Bond.” Twitch looked nervous, like he’d never heard it before, and he had Nigel repeat it so he could imitate the accent properly. Then he kind of nailed it and the audience went wild.
