IGN has an informative interview with Michael Wilson. Read the whole thing, but the money quote is:
Q: Will Quantum of Solace have anything to do with Fleming’s short story.
Wilson: No, it’s completely original, it doesn’t use any part of the short story.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackIt’s a shame that they won’t incorporate the story in any way. I think it would work well in the context of where Bond is at this stage.
I wonder if they won’t work something of the story into the name-check, but it won’t be much, for sure.
